Responsibilities:

Our advertising business is at it's core, a highly complex and sophisticated series of markets where the disciplines and analytics that exist in financial trading markets play out more dynamically and over a much broader landscape. A better understanding and insight into the patterns of behavior of the participants in the markets translates directly into bottom line profits and increased customer satisfaction.

We are looking for a highly motivated, analytical and entrepreneurial person who can observe and understand complex behaviors across a global massive scale advertising network, identify inefficiencies in this market as opportunities for gain and realize these gains.

This core central function will be looking for and seeing numerous opportunities for improving the business from both process to technology enhancements. The scope of responsibilities will range from developing and managing processes, designing analytic methods and tools on marketplace dynamics to tactical product implementation working hand-in-hand with cross-functional teams consisting of product management, development, sales, and operations among others.

Skills/Qualifications:

Required:

Economics background or deep knowledge of marketplace dynamics:
* Understanding of supply and demand mechanics in a marketplace environment.
* Ability to understand and communicate market effects of supply and demand side shocks.
Business planning and modeling skills:
* Experience in the development of business cases and process design.
* Ability to analyze and understand business value and strategic drivers of products
* Ability to work with and/or construct appropriate analytics, e.g. economic models, and sensitivity analyses.
Leadership and teamwork skills:
* Proven ability to facilitate and lead a diverse group of people to solve complex business problems.
* Ability to work effectively in multi-disciplinary team environments.
Innovation:
* Proven ability to identify & analyze business opportunities and challenges.
* Ability to innovate within tight constraints.
Relationship Skills:
* Ability to build deep and effective working relationships across a range of people internally and externally.
* Ability to pitch and sell new product lines.
* Ability to devise changes to processes, analyses and products and take them from ideas to existing business improvements
Min 3-5 years of work experience
Bachelor's degree
Strong familiarity with excel and financial modeling.
Candidates will have a very solid understanding of analytics, economics, and internet technology.
Preferred:
* Direct experience and understanding of online advertising business models strongly preferred.
* Direct experience with financial markets, risk management and consulting a plus
* Direct experience with ad networks or portfolio management a plus
* MBA strongly preferred from a top school.
