Yahoo! Personals is looking for a highly experienced, self-motivated,
and energetic Front End Engineer. If you love creating javascript
effects to dazzle your friends, are familiar with XMLHttpRequest and
browser css quirks, and are well versed in tableless HTML/CSS based
layouts, then this job is for you. Your work will be seen by millions
every day.

You must be familiar with MVC concepts, browser layout, css, DHTML and
Javascript. You enjoy bringing mocks and UI designs to life.

You'll work closely with software engineers, interaction designers,
visual designers, user experience researchers, marketers, and product
managers to complete work on a high profile site that gets more than 20 million hits per day.

Basic Requirements:
* excellent written and verbal communication skills required.
* 4+ years of web development experience.
* 2+ years of CSS (tableless layouts)
* 2+ years of PHP
* 2+ years of DHTML
* 1+ years of any flavor of Unix
* BA/BS CS or equivalent is required. MS in CS a plus.

Preferred Requirements:
* Cross browser compatibility
* Designing and developing with MVC
* Unix
* i18n and l10n web site building
* Apache
* OOP
* CVS/Perforce
* Server administration
* Design patterns.
* C++/Java/PHP5
