Windows OS (2000/XP) Software Developer- Win32 API/DDK/SoftIce

We are a software security company located in the Burlingame, CA area, with an immediate opening for a highly-skilled Windows OS (2000/XP) Senior/LeadSoftware Developer, with 3+ years of explicit knowledge of the Win32 API (including internals), low level C/C++, DDK, DDL development, device drivers, SoftIce and a BS/MS in Computer Science/EE. As a Start-up software Company we released our flagship product in late 2002, and received Series A funding from a top VC firm in 2004, followed by recent 2nd round of funding. We are growing quickly, so get on board now...

Required Skills we seek:
* 3+ years software development experience with LOW LEVEL internals
* Strong LOW LEVEL C/C++ programming skills
* Absolute command of the Win32 API (including its internals) with ability to "Hook down" or "write calls" in the OS or file system
* Very STRONG experience required with DLL development
* Experience with GDI, Windows networking, MAPI (Transport Provider) programming via the Win32 API
* Experience writing device drivers, DDK, SDK,
* Visual Studio and/or SourceSafe
* SoftIce
* B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science/EE.
* Prior experience in enterprise security is a BIG plus


Desired Skills (as a Big plus):
* Understanding of device drivers and development (Filter Manager, IFS, SoftICE etc.)
* Experience writing installation projects that are published with GPO
* Understanding of Windows security model
* Moderate experience with Active Directory programming
* Ability to understand and write x86 assembly code (non-UI)
* Prior experience in enterprise security is a plus
* Encryption implementation experience (nice to have)
* Kernel space understand/experience (nice to have)
* Experience working in a start-up company environment
