The Yahoo! Sports group is seeking experienced web developers. Are you passionate about creating clean, semantic markup? Are you just as interested in making PHP do your bidding as HTML+CSS+JS? Have you proven your skills as a front-end developer? And finally, are you a Sports fanatic!? If so, a small but growing team of sports engineers at Yahoo's new Santa Monica complex might be just the place for you!

Required skills:

At least 3+ years of work experience in web application development
Expert knowledge of semantic markup techniques
Experience in DHTML (JavaScript 1.0-1.5, CSS1 & CSS2, DOM Levels 0-2)
Knowledge of AJAX concepts (XmlHTTPRequest, iframes, remote scripting, JSON, etc)
Extensive knowledge of cross-browser compatibility & browser degradation strategies
Previous work experience with PHP, JSP, ASP, or other similar scripting languages

Preferred skills:

Understanding of OOP and event-driven programming
Knowledge of HCI and application UI design
Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
Passion for building high-quality products
A friendly, positive attitude - We're a fun group!
Able to work productively with minimal supervision, and with remote co-workers
A passion for Sports!
