As a senior analyst on the web search team you will design, analyze, and present benchmark measurements of web search quality among the company's key competitors.

Essential Responsibilities
Collaborate with engineering and business colleagues to formulate and resolve questions. Determine appropriate measures and methods for discerning strengths and weakness among competing web search products. Determine appropriate experiments, data, and analyses, developing analytic tools as needed. Interpret and present the data in ways that engineering and business colleagues can understand and act upon. Set priorities and schedules to fit organizational needs.

Basic Qualifications:

* Experience will be evaluated based on:
Competitive analysis and consulting experience;
Expertise in quantitative methods and their business application;
Experience with software development, online products, or search technology;
Demonstrated teamwork and technical leadership within cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

* This is a senior technical position with the ideal candidate possessing an MS in statistics, quantitative market analysis, or related field and 3 or more years of development and/or analytic experience. PhD preferred.
