Job Description:
Burke's is accepting applications for Full Time Loss Prevention Agents for our Outlet stores located in the Desert Hot Springs area of California.
Beall's is accepting applications for Full Time Loss Prevention Agents for our Outlets in the Phoenix area.
This position reports to the Loss Prevention Manager and assists management in the implementation, coordination and administration of the company Loss Prevention policies, programs, and practices within the stores. It also includes responsibility for reduction of financial loss to the store through training, loss prevention audits and shoplifter apprehensions. This positions pays an hourly rate of $9.50- $10.50 based on experience.
Out of town candidates please note that there is no relocation assistance provided for this position.
Job Responsibilities:
Apprehends and detains shoplifters; notifies appropriate Loss Prevention personnel and proper authorities of illegal or dishonest activities; completes necessary reports and paperwork.
Conducts audits of specific departments on a regular basis; notifies management of inventory inconsistencies/suspicious activities.
Monitors compliance with all Company policies and procedures dealing with physical inventory, customer service, cash office and cash registers.
Monitors all physical controls including alarms, closed circuit TV and ink tagging compliance to maximize effectiveness.
Experience/Qualifications:
Qualified candidates must be able to demonstrate strong interpersonal skills; establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, store associates and customers.
Prior experience in loss prevention is preferred, but not required.
Travel between stores...a valid drivers license in the state of employment is required.
Ability to pass drug screening and background check.
High school diploma or equivalent.
