Job Summary
The Loss Prevention Detective educates associates on safety and asset protection. Supports store management in the execution of loss prevention, safety, asset protection and inventory recovery strategies.
Responsibilities/Skills/Experience Requirements
Duties and Responsibilities:
•Support execution of Shortage Control Strategy
•Detection, investigation and successful resolution of internal and external dishonesty
•Conducts Loss Prevention audits, mini audits and control audits/inspections as required
•Trains associates on Loss Prevention and Safety programs and validates Shrink and Safety Awareness
•Physical security Implementation
•Ensures the proper operation and ensures proper repair of alarm and CCTV equipment
•Monitoring and implementation of Safety, OSHA and Environmental programs in their unit
•Conducts safety inspections on a scheduled basis
•Supports the safety committee, plans meetings and follows-up on action to be taken
