Job Description:
Responsibilities
- Lead the complaint handling process for Life Support Solutions business segment - Review complaints in New, Evaluation, Hold and Verified status - Drive complaints to timely closure, ensuring compliance with procedures and regulations - Close complaints when complete - Analyze, identify and report complaint trends to designated managers and to participants in appropriate meetings & reviews - Identify potential safety and quality risks - Drive complaint risk assessments - Identify cases reportable to global regulatory agencies - Work with global adverse event reporting resources to ensure timely submissions - Train cross-functional team members involved in the complaint handling process as required - Participate in Product Performance Team meetings and other CAPA/Quality Team operating mechanisms as assigned ~HJ~ Qualifications
- BS in Engineering or other technical area, or medical technology/caregiver degree/certification - 2-4 years work experience with Quality or Regulatory issues, preferably in the medical device industry - 'Virtual team' management experience - Demonstrated problem-solving skills - Demonstrated ability to deliver results on multiple tasks with competing priorities- Microsoft Office computer tools proficiency Desired
- MS/MA in technical or healthcare-related field - Anesthesia, respiratory care or critical care clinical application and medical device knowledge - Six Sigma Certification - Project Management- Well-developed team player skills with a global mindset- Excellent communication, influencing and interfacing skills General
