Responsibilities
The Quality Assurance Manager will drive the vision, strategy, management visibility and evolution of the Quality Management System throughout the Healthcare Technologies business. The individual will drive the training, enhancement, and adoption of the QMS framework and tools within the business. Additional responsibility includes managing the internal and external audits of the global registered sites within the business to ensure compliance as required by the business and regulatory agencies. The position requires extensive interaction and strong liaison activities with the engineering, manufacturing, service, quality, regulatory and management team within Healthcare as well as regulatory agencies. ~HJ~~CB~ Qualifications
-BS/BA in engineering or scientific discipline -Minimum 8 years experience working in a regulated Quality Management role (FDA is a requirement) -Current background/work experience with medical device business preferred; pharmaceutical industry also possibility -Past work experience in manufacturing/engineering environment preferred -Ability to navigate large complex business a must -Proven ability to drive change within organization; strong influencing and CAP skills -Strong knowledge of quality systems (ISO, GxP, FDA) -Ability to lead courageously (maintain a strong position amidst opposition; step forward to deal with important issues) -Global mindset General
