Job Summary

The Commission Sales Associate professionally assists guests in selecting product that meets their requirements. The Associate has an in-depth knowledge of all product sold. Meets required sales and margin standards and always acts in an ethical manner. Accountability (this person is the key person held accountable): Outstanding sales and guest service performance to required standards.

Responsibilities/Skills/Experience Requirements

-Follows good selling practices: approach, qualify, recommend and close
-Continually develops an in-depth product knowledge and is able to assist guests in meeting their product requirements
-Builds client/guest base through leads and follow through
-Maintains merchandise (cleaning, signing, pricing and replenishment)in assigned areas
-Takes appropriate action to ensure inventory integrity
-Recommends the right products and services for each guest
-Has outstanding follow through to successful guest satisfaction
-Always uses systems correctly
-Assists in protection of assets of category
-Is an active participant in competitive shopping process
-Responsible for acceptable close ratio of leads
-Understands the local state and federal regulations for tax, lead paint and associate electrical equipment handling
-Adheres to The Great Indoors' code of ethics
-Always represents The Great Indoors by maintaining a professional appearance and demeanor
-Exhibits a sense of ownership and empowerment
-Miscellaneous duties as requested by senior management
