Engineer/Scientist Mgr L, Test & Evaluation - SBInet Program

Job Description

This management position will be in support of the SBInet program. The objectives of SBInet are to provide an integrated defense-in-depth that will support the interdiction of illegal immigration and internal and external threats operating in or moving through the international borders with Canada and Mexico. Managing, securing, and controlling the border requires determining the optimum mix of technology, infrastructure, and response platforms to achieve maximum tactical and strategic advantage in each unique border environment. This position is contingent on award of an SBInet contract. The Manager of Test and Evaluation will direct the activities of a multi-disciplined team of test and analysis personnel. This team will plan and conduct an independent test and evaluation program through the use of prototype, production, or specifically fabricated hardware/software to obtain or validate engineering data on the performance of the SBInet solution. The Test and Evaluation activities will include conducting detailed planning, testing, support, data reduction and report preparation. The Test and Evaluation organization will provide support to an independent operational test and evaluation program conducted by the government to assess the SBInet solutions utility, operational effectiveness and operational suitability. The Test and Evaluation organization will develop the overall concept for Integration, Test, and Verification and develop Master Integrated Test Plans and Test Procedures.

Education

Requires educational credentials meeting the classification standards for engineers and typically a minimum of 18 years experience in an engineering classification.
