Responsibilities
Responsible for all aspects of Workers Compensation for the facility, including accident prevention, accident investigation & reporting, analysis of workers comp trends, and management of light duty associates. Provides safety training to new associates during orientation. Responsible for facility safety incentives and monthly safety meetings. Responsible for OSHA related programs i.e. Hearing Prevention, Lock out/Tag out, and hazard communication. Provides advice, and researches and coordinates legal issues with the Corporate Legal Department surrounding associate relations issues, Title VII, ADA, FMLA, and similar State laws, changes in the work schedule or work assignments, and other legal issues impacting the facility. Attends all unemployment hearings and other legal sessions as necessary. Tracks staffing needs for the facility and provides analysis for turnover. Is responsible for job posting in the facility and will be responsible for all applicant tracking as well as all recruitment activities for the facility. Oversees the facility Affirmative Action Plan. Provides guidance for all benefit issues and provides overview of CSK benefits during orientation process. Handles and coordinates open enrollment. Assists in managing the Training & Associate Development position to ensure that employee development and satisfaction are at optimum levels. Conducts yearly compensation survey and provides area recommendations for wage adjustments. Along with HR Assistant, ensures all increases, new hires and terms are handled in a timely manner.

Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or other related field or equivalent education/work experience
Three to five years exempt level experience
PHR or SPHR certification preferred
Strong knowledge of HR related State and Federal Laws and a thorough knowledge of workers comp laws

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Good analytical skills to include HR Theory and the application of policy and procedures
Excellent time and project management skills along with strong follow-up abilities
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other computer applications
Ability to identify and address identified HR issues in the facility
Ability to recruit high quality candidates to work in the facility
