Work with the Regional Sales and Service Managers, establish a network of sales representatives and other channels to serve the industrial market.
Train sales representatives to sell and support the industrial product line and associated products.
Develop industrial product line marketing and sales literature to target new industrial customers and markets utilizing SEL marketing resources.
Work with the R&D team and sales force to develop product specifications and modifications to existing products based on customer opportunities.
Prepare and deliver product and application presentations.
Supervise employee-owners as applicable.
Establish annual sales targets and strategies for the industrial market over a five year period.
Participate in industrial conferences and societies as a tool to learn about the future and current application of SEL products.
Apply SEL values in serving customers, representatives and distributors.Qualifications:
Bachelors of Science degree in a technical discipline
Five years of sales management experience in an electrical and electronics products company
Seven years experience in electrical products development or application
Proven leadership and interpersonal skills
Proven mastery of sales fundamentals
Experience in developing lasting customer, channel and partner relationships
Background check results satisfactory to SEL
