Job Description:
Assists in the preparation of proposals, business plans, proposal work statements and specifications, operating budget and financial terms/conditions of contract.
Ensures that all resources such as engineering, manpower, production and facilities are available to support the program.
Involved in defining program parameters or guiding internal research and development efforts in assigned field.
Works with customers to determine needs, requirements and new business opportunities.
Will work with functional departments assigned to the program as well as the individual Integrated Product Team (IPT) leaders.
Duties would include supporting programs/orders with our Agency Customers (DISA, DEA, FEMA, DARPA, etc.) and the Coast Guard.
Will lead program teams on other pursuit efforts and proposals.



Qualifications:
Education required: BS in Engineering with a minimum of 5 years of industry experience as a program manager.
Must have experience working with other industry team members as well as with government customer departments and functions.
Some travel is required.
Must have a strong background in proposal writing and program execution.
Must have an Active Secret clearance or the ability to obtain one.



Experience:
Experience managing Programs in the $2M - $10M dollar range with budgeting, scheduling and technical management is required.
Must have experience writing proposals.
