Rational Tech Sales Specialist (any Northeast U.S. Major City)

Job Details
A Rational BuildForge Technical Sales Specialist will be involved in all aspects
of the BuildForge sales cycle and a critical resource to drive business
forward. This solution expert will actively champion and demonstrate the
value of the BuildForge solution to prospective customers. Working closely
with BuildForge Sales Representatives, the Tech Sales Specialist will
understand the build and release process requirements of prospective
customers, design solutions that deliver business value, provide detailed
product demonstrations and deliver in-depth technical presentations to
prospective customers. Travel to
customer sites is expected.

Ideal candidate will have 3+ years of successful pre-sales experience with
complex software solutions, experience working within a sales
organization and being responsible for the technical aspects of the sales
cycle, solid consulting and troubleshooting skills. Experience in one or
more of the following is a plus: Change/Configuration Management,
Development, Build Engineering, QA. Experience gained in companies like the following is a plus: Borland, CA, MicroSoft, Perforce, Serena. Additional Info
