Position Description:



An outstanding opportunity available in a rapidly expanding N. Tucson company.  We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking individual to work as a 3rd shift supervisors in our manufacturing facility.  The job responsibilities will include:  
Supervises all production activities performed by employees; maintain a high degree of visibility and access to employees throughout the shift.
Establishes and maintains department standards for productivity, reliability, and accuracy.
Monitors and reports daily production results, material usage, waste, and downtime.
 Ensure that workers, materials and equipment are properly allocated to maximize productivity and meet all production schedules.
 Use Continuous Improvement concepts by identifying and using appropriate tools in order to contribute to organizational goals.
 Assist management with the development and implementation of policies and procedures; ensures all established policies and procedures are followed by employees.
Forecasts staffing needs to meet peak demands of the business and staff team accordingly; motivates, rewards, and disciplines employees being supervised; resolves personnel issues.
 Coach and develop people in order to encourage their ongoing learning process.

  

  

 

Position Requirements:


2 year relevant college degree with 5 years experience as a  Production Supervisor in a high volume, high tech environment
Must manage time well, communicate effectively, handle internal customer relations, measure work appropriately, and ensure compliance with company policies
Proven skills in building, leading and facilitating team work, with particular attention to group problem solving skills 
Strong verbal and written communication skills combined with an upbeat, positive attitude is required  
Ability to motivate employees, maintain morale and command respect is essential
Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects while thriving under pressure is a must
