We are looking for a Product Cell Leader to be located our Carrollton, GA (50 miles west of Atlanta) facility. We manufacture Bobcat and Ingersoll Rand attachments. This is a second shift role.
OBJECTIVE
Continuous improvement focus at the Product Cell level. Responsible for supervising the production team, developing and maintaining metrics relating to Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost at the Product Cell level. Responsible for cell communications, developing and maintaining standardize work, training, and ECN implementation at the Product Cell level.
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Supervises a second shift production team including employee selection, direction, performance, and discipline.
2. Own Product Cell performance, productivity metrics and product cell continuous improvements.
3. Assist cell associates in establishing and maintaining production schedules.
4. Assist in interpreting sales and production forecasts into terms of manpower, material and equipment.
5. Cell Lean Promotion including the development of new or improved processes, equipment, organization, standard work, specifications, methods, policies, systems, Kiazan coaching, or procedures to maintain and improve operating efficiency and product quality.
6. Work closely with other departments in order to coordinate work sequences; prevent production delays; effect maximum utilization of machinery, equipment and manpower.
7. Develop and maintain cell communications and visual factory indicator relating to Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost.
8. Training of cell associates needed to sustain Safety, Quality, and Delivery targets.
REQUIREMENTS
BS/BS in engineering, operations, or other related area
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
5 years experience in manufacturing including 2 years of supervision
