We are currently seeking an experienced District Parts Manager for our Arizona, California, New Mexico and Nevada Territories.


Candidates must have experience selling in the Automotive Aftermarket industry.

POSITION SUMMARY:

The purpose of this position is to support the Thermo King dealer network in order to drive sales results in the assigned territory. In order to achieve this goal, this person should implement tools and training, assist dealers in developing their aftermarket (service and parts) business plans, and support aftermarket marketing programs.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Profitably grow parts and accessories revenue in the assigned territory by working with Thermo King dealers, working with other Transport Solutions field sales and service managers, and selling to customers.

Develop product line expertise to assist in securing Refrigerated Transport Solution sales. Support Transport Solutions field sales force in execution of the Refrigerated Transport Solutions strategy.

Develop and implement sales tools and training for TK dealers and field sales managers to maximize success of new and existing products.

Maximize results of Thermo King dealer network in the areas of service and parts by assist in the development and implementation of sales and marketing plans for dealers in the assigned territory.

Support other marketing programs such as the service marketing program, The EDGE, promotions, etc. designed to profitably grow the Thermo King aftermarket business.



REQUIREMENTS / QUALIFICATIONS:

Undergraduate degree plus 5 years experience required.

Experience in automotive or transportation industry.

Excellent communications skills required, including presentation skills.

MS Office skills must be advanced.

Knowledge of Thermo King and competitive equipment to include understanding of difference and the effect on life cycle cost desired.

Good negotiation and selling skills.

Working knowledge of dealer and customer business practices.

75% travel required.
