Export License&Compliance Mgr

Job Description: Responsible for the preparation and submittal of complex export and import licenses applications, Technical Assistance Agreements, Manufacturing License Agreements and other requests to Defense Trade Controls, U.S. Department of State. Performs the duties of a Raytheon Company Level III Empowered Official. Team Lead responsible for the assignments/work products of the International License Management staff in support of a major Missile Systems Product Line. Determines and certifies appropriate legal authority for exports of defense article hardware, technical data and defense services. Assists with the development of licensing strategies for international marketing, sales, support, offshore procurement and manufacturing of defense articles. Develops and implements operating procedures for ensuring adequate export control levels by company employees. Participates in compliance audits and investigations; conducts internal compliance training programs.
Required Skills: Minimum eight years experience specializing in export licensing, Technical Assistance Agreements, Manufacturing License Agreements to DDTC in compliance with the ITAR. Demonstrated understanding of U. S. Export and Import Regulations, including ITAR, EAR, Customs, and ATF. Proven ability to interpret U.S. export and import regulations. Team player with excellent interpersonal skills. As an empowered official, review and provide direction to subordinates. Ability to analyze data on export actions and develop recommended courses of action. Demonstrated ability to develop solutions to complex international licensing issues in compliance with regulations. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines. Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
Desired Skills: Proficient in Word, Excel & PowerPoint. Previous team lead and training experience.
Required Education(including Major): B.A./B.S. degree in Business/International Business or other relevant discipline
