Fiber Optic Technician

InnovaQuartz, a wholly owned subsidiary of Laserscope is looking for a Fiber Optic Technician.

Essential Functions:
Build standard and custom fiber optic assemblies. Ability to maximize productivity. Document work detail as required. Demonstrate flexibility to fill in where needed by production manager. Supports internal and external customer satisfaction.

Qualifications:
Experience with lasers and quartz materials. Experience with traditional machining and concepts. Experience with fiber optics. Ability to read technical drawings. Shows dedication to tasks. Exhibits flexibility. Exhibits initiative. Ability to work in a team.

Responsibilities:
Build both standard and custom fiber optic assemblies. Always strive for the highest quality product. Uses all tools and techniques with safe practices for self and others. Maintain accurate records of materials and techniques as required. Maintain organized and neat work area. Operate under guidelines outlined by OSHA, GMP, and FDA practices. Support QA department. Support Quality System. Laser polishing functions. Communicate any malfunction or problem immediately for problem resolution. Complete work in an accurate and thorough manner. Uphold corporate confidentiality. All medical products are produced according to written policies and procedures. Continue striving to improve skills and increase level of technique. Aid in training and education of new technicians.
