Manager III-Program Management

Job Description:

The Land Combat Product Line (LCPL) has decided to establish a presence in Huntsville that will involve significant interface with our US Army customer. As such, the PL is looking for a strong leader to develop and implement a strategy for all Land Combat operations in Huntsville. Land Combat is considering populating this newly created office with technical reps from each LC program to better communicate and work with our customer. Incumbent would work closely with LCPL leadership to determine the appropriate strategy for the PL's presence in Huntsville, and be responsible for organizational structure and allocation of subordinate management responsibilities. Incumbent will reside in Huntsville; however initial travel to Tucson would be required to learn the organization and help define the strategy and implementation plan. This position will report to the Land Combat Product Line Deputy and serve as the primary spokesperson for LCPL operations in Huntsville.

Required Skills:

Demonstrated leadership, management and customer focused skills and capabilities. Ability to drive organization objectives autonomously at an off-site location. Able to make final decisions on administrative or operational issues affecting major segments or functional activities of the Product Line. Demonstrated capacity to network with senior leaders to establish and implement organizational objectives.

Desired Skills:

Prior experience working with the US Army customer. Exceptional customer relationship and business networking skills. Program management experience. Demonstrated ability to develop, implement and lead off-site operations.

Experience/Education:

10 Years participating in program management or Army Acquisition Corps with a B.S./B.A. in Engineering, Science, or Mathematics
