Job Description:

The project management liaison will report to the Engineering Manager for day to day duties and to the WISDM Program Manager in support of long term program goals. The project management liaison will oversee and coordinate the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serve as liaison between operations, engineering and supply chain. This position is expected to act independently in the resolution of program issues by assessing and developing solutions to meet productivity, quality and customer satisfaction goals and objectives. The technical administrator is expected to develop mechanisms for monitoring program progress and for interventions and problem solving with program managers, line managers and customers.

Specifically, the responsibilities include the following:


Provide liaison between engineering, program management, project teams and line management to ensure all directives, project reviews, activity reports, productivity reports are disseminated/completed to ensure business and operational schedules are met with minimal risk.

Research, develop and write reports and briefings, present briefings to management as required.

Ensure all classified data is maintained appropriately and participate as required in support of audits from the Defense Security Service

Develop mechanisms for monitoring project progress and risks for interventions and problem solving.

Analyze program financial data and interface with Program administrative personnel to resolve program funding matters.

Conduct WISDM training for program personnel. Act as a liaison for the WISDM program manager on issues as required to support program goals and objectives.


Requirements:

Business/business management training - 2 year degree minimum

3 years minimum experience in a professional environment

Proficient with MS Office and Adobe products, email, basic computer skills including storage and backup.

Willingness to take direction and pass on direction from engineering management


Good communication skills including phone and with an audience of engineering personnel

Familiarity with missile engineering type organizations

Ability to take on significant responsibilities, work extended hours on occasion

Possible occasional travel within the United States

Able to obtain DOD Secret Clearance
