The ideal candidate has previous accounting or bookkeeping experience in addition to operations experience. The work is typically from an exception-based report, so while you work in a team environment, the work is often independent in nature.

Responsibilities:
-Reconciling mutual fund omnibus account activity and positions to internal system records and transactions.
-Reconciling cash positions of internal trading accounts.
-Resolving exception items timely and researching how to keep those exceptions from occurring in the future.
-Provide support to mutual fund companies and other internal departments with regard to shareholder accounting customer positions.

Requirements:
-Accounting/Bookkeeping
-Spreadsheet experience
-A bachelor's degree in business or accounting is preferred.
-One-plus years of previous reconciliation/accounting experience.
