Job Description: Provide Supplier Quality Engineering support to Tier 2 and Advanced Programs. Responsible for process improvements (external), involving the creation/application of new and/or existing process improvement tools and techniques. Support activities and delivery requirements inclusive of Source Inspection, Product and Process Verifications, Hardware Acceptance Reviews, Post Award Reviews, or similar processes. Apply Quality and Contractual requirements (internal and external flow down) to assure program performance meets customer and company objectives. Support supplier process validations as required. Responsible for Supplier Quality data analysis, Supply Chain and Program Corrective Action Board's (CAB) activities, Root Cause Corrective Actions (CaWebs/SCAR's), and providing quality support for the Operations and Engineering teams. Serve as an Integrated Product Team member or leader as needed. Point of contact for internal customers on supplier related issues, inclusive of performance, plans, and objectives. Assist in risk management assessments and implementation of associated mitigation plans.
Required Skills: Solid background and experience in quality and hardware disciplines. Demonstrated ability to identify problem root cause and initiate/implement effective short-term and long-term corrective actions. Experience with CAB disciplines/processes and the CaWeb system. Proven ability to exercise sound judgment and apply decision making skills with minimal supervisory intervention. Excellent customer and supplier relationships. Ability to effectively communicate throughout all levels of the company and customer community. Experienced in the deployment of Design for Six Sigma, Supplier Six Sigma and other quality tools to effect supplier performance improvements. Demonstrated proficiency at preparing and presenting upper management, supplier, and customer presentations. Excellent interpersonal skills. Computer proficiency a must.
Desired Skills: Design to manufacturing process flow experience highly desirable. Ability to interpret and implement defense related contractual and regulatory requirements. Strong familiarity/working knowledge of ISO 9001 and/or AS9100 disciplines preferred. Six Sigma, ASQ Certifications a plus. Technically degreed individual preferred but applicable experience may be considered.

Required Education(including Major): B.S. - Engineering, General; Quality Engineering; Industrial Engineering. Applicable experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
