M.A.R.S. International evolved out of an automotive chemical supply business established in 1987. Since 1992, we have recruited, equipped and trained more than 400 individuals who have developed successful careers and financial independence as auto appearance reconditioning specialists.
Today, we have M.A.R.S. representatives in more than 40 states nationwide. We are first to develop a Retail Franchise to serve the unlimited needs of the consuming public.

Currently, we are seeking qualified candidates for a Director of Area Development opening to build metropolitan teams
Job Summary:
This position requires an uncommon blend of skills and experience to manage and develop teams in a metropolitan area, expanding a franchise organization with over 200 operating locations. The successful candidate will have proven skills in Strategic and Tactical Sales, Business Development, Planning, Organizing, Leading and Controlling all aspects of a rapidly growing national enterprise. Our operations establish customers and manage technicians for reconditioning services primarily through vehicle dealers of all types. Proven Management and sales skills are required. Team and business development experience is a must and auto-related experience is a plus but not a requirement.
This position has seen success from individuals from many different fields of experience. M.A.R.S. International has seen success from individuals with experience in fields such as IT, Education, Recruiting, Sales, Banking / Finance, Business Development, Upper Level Management, Marketing, Construction, and all Automotive fields. Job Duties and Responsibilities: -
Overall leadership of the local company so that productivity goals and objectives are met and that full accountability to the President is maintained.
Operational leadership over the following Areas: Sales & Marketing, Customer Management, Recruiting, Training, Mentoring, Contract Compliance, Accounting, Information Technology and Business Development.
Financial oversight and accountability over all accounting and budgeting functions. -
Initiate, expand, develop and maintain close, productive, and resourceful relationships with customers, franchisees and employees.
Compensation Plan:
The compensation plan includes a base salary (commensurate with experience), incentive bonuses, and a benefit package.
This position does require a refundable deposit. The amount of the deposit is determined by the type of certification and training required and the tools, equipment and supplies associated with the state certified training provided. A minimum refundable deposit of $500 is required, depending on the position filled. Most deposits pay 10% interest per annum on deposited amount.

Skills, Knowledge, Abilities
The successful candidate must have at least ten years of successful business development and sales experience with several years as a manager or an executive.
In as much as this is a "hands-on" opportunity, the successful candidate must be able to function as effectively in field as in the executive suite.
Must complete and certify through our comprehensive training program, you will develop proficiency in all 6 categories of appearance reconditioning services: Exterior Paint Repairs, Interior Repairs, Detail Cleaning Services, Specialties Group, Creative Accessories, Interior-Exterior Graphics.
Teach your team members the necessary skills to sell and provide all of these services.
Build effective teams by selection and evaluation of technical personnel.
Maintenance and Accountability for high levels of customer service.
