Associate Product Marketing Manager
The Associate Product Marketing Manager will manage go-to-market activities, marketing programs, reference accounts, and product launches for Sage CRM Solutions in the North American region, as well as manage internal and partner communications and the business unit's participation in major events. The Product Marketing Manager will also serve as a liaison between the business unit and the corporate marketing organization to provide content and direction for marketing activities and programs, including lead generation campaigns, events, advertising, and public relations.
Job Responsibilities
· Oversee the planning and execution of product and program launch activities, from initial development of a comprehensive Launch Plan, to ongoing cross-functional meetings.
· Assist with day-to-day product marketing responsibilities including messaging, creation of sales and partner tools, programs and initiatives, website content, etc.
· Work with the installed-base and primary marketing divisions on positioning for direct mail, email, collateral etc. and act as liaison between marketing, sales and production.
· Work with Web, PR, Advertising and Events team to elevate the Sage CRM Solutions brands and ensure product positioning is accurate.
· Develop and manage a Customer Reference Program to provide Sales and Business Partners with references for use as validation in the sales cycle.
· Manage the CRM business unit's participation in major events, including annual Sage partner conference and the annual Sage customer summit.
· Continually seek new ways of improving existing processes or introduce new processes to bring efficiency and value to the business.
Required Qualifications
· Four-year college degree in a relevant field (marketing, business administration, and business communications) preferred.
· At least 2 years of product marketing/marketing experience ideally in a commercial business application software environment, or related technology industry.
· Must be able to work in a fast-paced, multi-task, deadline-driven work environment
· Strong written communication skills are a must
· Proven track record of launching programs or products on time.
· Demonstrable accomplishment of process improvements and/or introduction of new processes resulting in increased business efficiency.
· Strong project management skills with preference for experience in business software or related applications.
· Strong problem solving skills with the ability to quickly assess situation and react with proposed solutions based on analysis of all factors.
· Proven ability to work cross-functionally, between technical and non-technical teams.
· Be a team player and demonstrate positive interpersonal skills.
· Must be self-motivated and able to work independently.
· Consistently demonstrate a high level of customer service for internal and external customers.
· Marketing, business and technical computing background desired.
· Mid-market business software experience
· Experience working in a channel driven organization
Technical aptitude a plus.
