Brand Manager
In this action oriented role, you will report directly to the Marketing Vice President. You will be provided a unique opportunity to help develop and oversee strategic marketing plans for a specific brand while working in a collaborative environment. We are looking for a results oriented individual who can implement marketing strategies to meet product line objectives, evaluate syndicated research, market conditions, competitor data and performance. Synchronization of print, trade, and consumer focused promotional activities will also be among your responsibilities. You will asked to be a self-starter, think strategically, and align tactics while responding to a dynamic market environment.
Other responsibilities include:
- Contributing to the development, communication, and execution of marketing and product strategies
- In conjunction with internal team and external vendors, creating, developing and designing consumer driven promotions; recommending changes to maximize outcomes.
- Developing trade specific marketing materials including collateral, sell sheets, data sheets, spec sheets.
- Analyzing primary and secondary market research findings, determining implications, and recommending actions.
- Coordinating development of new products and line extensions
- Developing and updating website content for parent and brand specific sites
- Providing input into positioning and pricing of assigned product(s)
- Analyzing marketing opportunities, program results, and industry changes/opportunities
- Collaborating with leader, production, and sales to optimize product forecast and product procurement.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will have 5 or more years of brand management experience, preferably in consumer packaged goods. B.S. degree is required, marketing or related field preferred. Proven leadership ability coupled with sound analytical skills are required as is the demonstrated ability to collaborate with people in diverse functional areas. Must be able to effectively manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously. Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills a must!
