Job Summary:
The Channel Marketing Program Manger will work closely with the Americas Channel Marketing Team in the execution of channel programs and account specific marketing plan activities. This person will be responsible for managing programs through NetApps channel partners in the North America region, with revenue and partner enablement as the ultimate metric of job performance. This individual will have day-to-day responsibility for managing multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
Essential Functions:
Develop and maintain a marketing relationship with key channel partners and use approved marketing plans as a roadmap for-go-to-market and development initiatives.
Manage the day to day execution of partner marketing plan activities. Marketing activities could include (but would not be limited to) direct marketing, e-marketing, telemarketing, trainings, road shows, webinars, seminars, etc.).
Spearhead efforts to develop and enable partners and their local offices, coordinating marketing resources as needed. Coordinate training on new products, solution sets, NetApp corporate direction, business processes, etc., leading to enhanced partner self-sufficiency in sales and systems and to NetApp winning mindshare and cycles from competitive storage vendors.
Drive joint opportunity development activities through marketing initiatives, coordinate MDF spend, and utilize corporate marketing and vendors as resources.
Build marketing relationships and create sense of engagement and connection with partners.
Through a high awareness of the partners businesses, knowledge of their channel coverage models and strategies; and understanding of their focus in areas of solution sets, verticals, geo, and markets, this person will be viewed as a valued and trusted resource and as a key part of their team.
Develop metrics that measure effectiveness of promotions and programs and can be used to evaluate ROI.
Manage regional channel calendar of events and media plan, partner database efforts, and VAR success story program.
Requirements:
7-10 years marketing experience preferably channel marketing management in high tech working with channel partners.
Education:
