Marketing Manager

Primary Responsibilities :
Intuit is seeking a Marketing Manager with web marketing experience in high profile consumer packaged goods (CPG)or technology consumer goods for our Consumer Tax Group in San Diego. In this key role, you will help develop a strategy and drive creative process that is critical to the business. This position requires a strategic thinker with strong analytical skills who sees the big picture but is also willing to execute on new and existing campaigns while managing cross-functional relationships internally and with vendors/agencies. Excellent writing skills are essential.

Responsibilities:
• Leverage core marketing principles to execute complex projects and programs in support of the 1 year marketing plan, often working cross functionally to achieve goals.
• Develop customer acquisition plans/strategies and execute specific marketing programs across marketing vehicles. Includes:
--writing creative briefs
--driving creative & messaging direction for marketing efforts
--managing program budgets
--tracking revenue and analyzing program results (ROI)
--making go-forward recommendations
--sharing learning with the organization
• Build customer and market insight:
--Work with market research department to conduct studies and learning summaries
--Conduct ongoing competitive analysis, report findings
--Analyze customer feedback data
--Talk to customers and prospects
• Develop strong relationships with cross-functional partners.
• Apply creativity to problem solving and utilize analytic skills and modeling capabilities to provide ongoing insight into the business and make recommendations and decisions

Qualifications :
• 5-7 years business experience as a Marketing Manager
• 2-3 years experience marketing consumer packaged goods or technology consumer goods
• 2-3 years experience in web application marketing
• Excellent writing skills
• Experience in marketing/brand management that includes:
o Online and Offline marketing
o Creation and execution of marketing plans.
o Managing external vendors/ agencies.
o Ability to translate customer insight and marketing planning into programs
o Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
o Strong creative problem-solving and analytical skills
o Excellent verbal, written, visual/presentation and interpersonal communication skills
o Proven track record of success leading cross-functional teams.
o Strong results orientation and decision making skills: take-charge attitude and champion of innovative ideas.
• Requires a Bachelors degree, MBA preferred
