Product Marketing Manager-OEM

Job Summary:



This position will be responsible for positioning Network Appliance products and creating marketing programs that drive revenue with the IBM sales team.



Essential Functions:



· Provide NTAP sales tools to IBM for product launches

· Drive programs and promotions for direct and indirect channels

· Influence N Series positioning within IBM product line through IBM presentations, field education, and product launches

· Lead positioning on NetApp relative to competition

· Provide content for solutions collateral by creating new material and leveraging what is in place

· Present NetApp solutions to IBM, ex. Exchange, Oracle, etc

· Be the focal point for IBM’s independent software vendor (ISV) certifications on NetApp products





Requirements:



· 8-10 years in a product marketing role with a major systems or storage company

· Experience working with partners, preferably in an OEM relationship

· Strong communications skills

· Medium to strong product knowledge in systems or storage

· Demonstrate track record managing schedule for marketing deliverables



Education:



BS required, MBA desirable
