The Investor Business Development organziation is part of the Client Relationship Development group which also includes our Branch Office Network, Active Trader Sales and Fixed Income Sales organizations. These areas work closely together to provide best in class tools, resources and solutions to our clients across the country.
Description:
Investor Business Development is a primary sales arm for Schwab Investor Services. We support Talk to Chuck initiatives; receive calls related to marketing and advertising; and proactively assist prospects and clients with assessing needs, proposing solutions, consolidating assets, opening new accounts and navigating them to the next steps in their fully integrated relationship with Schwab.
You will be responsible for:
Client acquisitions and consolidations
Client focused solutions
Sales and revenue targets
Technical Skills:
Your financial success will be the direct result of your personal selling and client experience skills. Our Sales Consultant Incentive Compensation program rewards client relationship development with an emphasis on revenue acquisition and consolidation.
The ideal candidate will have:
Genuine desire to help clients using needs-based selling
Ability to create client promoters by delivering spectacular client experience
Undergraduate degree
Series 7 and 63
3 or more years of proactive, successful sales experience in the financial services industry
Outstanding communication skills
Comprehensive industry and client solution knowledge
Relationship and client acquisition experience and success
