Sr. Manager Program Operations
Description:
Job Summary:
Aid in helping department excel in its mission to monitor and measures partner and program performance; deliver scalable WW infrastructure to support WW programs; and drive WW compliance & consistency.
The ideal candidate for WW Channel Senior Manager Program Operations will be a high energy, hands on, detailed-oriented individual with in-depth experience in cross-functional program management, business process design and management of key processes supporting channel partner programs. Additionally, the successful candidate will have extensive experience operationalizing partner programs across geographies, balancing core program requirements with local geographic nuances.
Essential Functions:
· Establish framework and timeline to operationalize Network Appliances VIP Program across all geographies
· Manage the development of new processes and tools to support and automate, where possible, VIP program management and measurement of program effectiveness
· Drive process improvement for several partner engagement elements globally including: contract process, partner registration and profiling, demo/evaluation equipment, market development and demand generation funds, incentive rebates, partner on-boarding and enablement
· Drive cross-functional alignment with channel sales, finance, NetApp University, services and business units, where appropriate
· Manage partner productivity enhancements and drive partner profitability initiatives as necessary
· Develop & implement a sophisticated partner program management system, including web-based partner tools, contract and business plan management, and promotional fund investment
· Contribute to creation of system to manage partner P&L, evaluating ROI for promotional, infrastructural and incentive-based investments
· Assist team in comprehensive analysis of current channel partner and end-user pricing trends; complete analysis & provide recommendations for evolving WW Channel pricing model
· Support the WW Channel monthly reporting process through involvement with the business review package and development/management of department metrics
· Participate in and/or lead company-wide projects that directly or indirectly impact WW Channel Operations or Programs
Requirements:
Excellent communication and presentation skills with emphasis on articulating project progress, issues and mitigation plans to all levels of management
Demonstrated track record of implementing successful cross-functional programs, including development of cross-company business process and system solutions
Exceptional process analysis skills, with proven history of streamlining/simplifying activities to improve partner and field productivity
Strong manager and leader of people, including the ability to motivate and influence peers and executive management
Ability to develop comprehensive project plans for global implementation, define resource requirements and success criteria, and identify and mitigate risks to project success
Expert motivational skills in influencing both direct and virtual teams, assuming full ownership for project completion and anticipating/resolving issues without impacting project schedule
Strong analytical and business modeling skills with the ability to work on complex issues
Ability to balance complexity with simplicity
Comfortable in a high performance, fast-paced organization. Candidate's ability to work independently as well as participate in a strong team environment is indispensable to excel at this position
Approaches assignments and problem solving with business acumen and a big picture orientation
Highly motivated individual with a results-driven orientation
At least seven years experience driving cross-functional process development and implementation, preferably for channel partners
Understanding of both domestic and international markets and channels essential
Education:
