West Marketing Manager

Job Summary:



Responsible for developing the West Area Marketing Plan to generate demand for the West Sales team. Will partner with one other marketing manager to develop the mktg plan with input from the West Sales team and by using campaigns coming out of corporate marketing, alliance partner marketing and product marketing. Will co-mkt with key resellers and alliance partners. Will execute on the marketing activities within the plan ensuring that all logistics and content deliver the best possible customer experience. Will be part of a larger field mktg team that generates demand for all of the Americas.



Essential Functions:



The candidate for this position must be able to:
understand the objectives of the sales team
prioritize the marketing requests
incorporate programs, campaigns, and tools delivered by corporate marketing into the marketing activities
develop a marketing plan
execute on the activities in the plan
work closely with partners (resellers, ISVs, technology) to plan and execute the marketing activities
measure and report the effectiveness of the activities
manage the marketing budget
give feedback to corporate marketing as to what works in the field



Requirements :



Minimum of 5 years experience in marketing to the IT community. Prefer storage knowledge but not necessary





Education:
