Administrative Assistant

To provide administrative support to the major gifts team

















DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES:
1. Interact with staff, consultants and other personnel as necessary to schedule meetings and set appointments. Maintain and update appointment calendars

2. Assist with planning and implementation of donor visits, committee meetings and internal meetings. This includes reserving space, golf carts, food and other necessary meeting materials.

3. Produce high quality word processing documents, including correspondence, mail merges, reports, memos, meeting agendas and minutes, budget plans and spread sheet presentations.






4. Perform general clerical duties such as photocopying, processing mail, filing, ordering supplies and equipment as necessary.





5. Respond to inquiries and requests from volunteers, donors and visitors using excellent telephone and communications skills and sensitivity to discreet matters.





6. Staff development-related special events, sometimes requiring time beyond the hours of the customary work day.





7. Assist with other special projects as assigned.




Qualifications






Bachelor's degree preferred. One to three years' experience as an administrative


assistant or comparable office experience required. Candidate must be service


oriented with excellent communication and telephone skills and able to prioritize


multiple tasks. Proficiency with Microsoft Office software suite required.


Familiarity with Raiser's Edge preferred. Position requires use of personal


vehicle to run short local errands on occasion.
