The Taproot Foundation is seeking experienced Brand Strategists in the New York San Francisco Bay Areas to donate their skills to help local nonprofits in need. This is a unique opportunity to work on a team of talented professionals to make a lasting impact on a local nonprofit that is working to strengthen your community.



Responsibilities

- Serve as the content leader on a branding volunteer team that includes a project manager, marketing manager and graphic designer

- Design and manage the research process to define the requirements for the creative execution

- Work directly with the executive director and board of the client nonprofit to ensure buy-in

- Ensure that the creative execution is aligned with the brand strategy

- Leverage the Taproot Foundation's branding blueprint developed with leaders from Landor Associates that includes the best practices for delivering pro bono branding to a nonprofit



Requirements

- Four years experience as either a brand strategist, packed goods product manager or senior manager at a marketing agency

- Presentation and consensus building skills

- Ability to provide creative direction to an identity designer

- Passion for making a difference in the community
