HR Manager
Human Resource Manager for International Mega Yacht Company
Summary:
Manages and oversees the organization's HRIS (Human Resources Information Systems) program, benefits, organizational Global Reporting. Must have progessive experience in HR, ABRA implementation and maintenance experience helpful, training and recruiting for large company.
Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following (other duties may be assigned):
Directs domestic and international payroll companies to ensure systems and data are transmitting properly.
Ensures items are processed timely and in compliance with local laws.
Establishes and communicates standard operating processes and procedures for payroll and HRIS.
Provides leadership, training, and coaching for team members.
Ensures that HR records management is handled timely and in compliance with local, state, and federal requirements.
Works with the HR team and IT to maximize the company's HRIS data management and reporting capabilities.
Directs compilation, distribution, and/or exchange of benefit data files such as insurance; review and authorize corresponding payroll deductions.
Develops, implements, and modifies system requirements.
Maintains internal database files and tables, and develops custom reports to meet the requirements of company management and staff.
Identifies training needs of end users and develops and provides the necessary training to meet those needs.
Creates HR informational reports using various reporting tools.
Assists with new Systems Implementation.
Applies technical knowledge and expertise to HR policies and procedures and analyzes and suggests revisions to current HR policies & procedures.
Ensures the integrity of the Human Resources Information System demographic and employment data.
Processes all hiring documentation and processing employees in HRIS system.
Serves as webmaster for the Human Resources webpage.
Conducts domestic and international compensation studies and salary benchmarking. Recommends salary structures.
Provides statistical support to conduct trend analyses, variance reporting and other key organizational metrics.
Establishes effective workflow processes and schedules to optimize receipt, accuracy and timeliness of information from data sources (e.g., HR Reps, managers, employees).
Maintains valid hiring approval processes and codes.
Develops preventative process solutions to address issues.
Troubleshoot basic technical issues with installed systems.
Serves as lead and/or liaison in resolving technical problems with HR systems.
Tracks company HR initiatives including performance management, compliance training, and orientations.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
May manage subordinate employees. Responsible for the overall direction, coordination and evaluation of International HR staff. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Education/Experience:
Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university required and at least 3 years of experience; or five to ten years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. SPHR, PHR desired.
Computer Skills:
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Word Processing software; Spreadsheet software, Contact Management systems and HRIS systems. Must have strong software and technical skills and ability to analyze complex data.
