The successful candidate will be responsible for a variety of tasks that lead a to a high level of customer satisfaction in the cost-effective manner with respect and dignity. Participates as Social Worker in assigned area to assist with program planning and development, and with organizing social work activities. Education: Master's Degree from accredited school of social work. LCSW (California State Licensed Clinical Social Worker) desired. Experience: Master's Degree from accredited school of Social Work, with field placement for job experience in hospital, health, mental health or related setting. Must be able to demonstrated the knowledgeable and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served on his/her unit. Must demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span and possess the ability to assess data reflective of the patients status and interpret the appropriate information needed to identify each patient's requirements relative to his/her age specific needs and to provide the care needed as described in the units/area's/departments policies and procedures. Specialized training: Bilinqual (Spanish/English) desirable.
