Job Summary

The Manager, Procurement for Fixture Development supports the Customer Experience Team and Manager of Fixture Procurement to create engineering design documents for the purpose of obtaining accurate and precise bids from fixture vendor partners in support of the entire Sears Holdings Corporation portfolio of store formats, including but not limited to: Sears Full Line, Kmart, Great Indoors, Sears Grand and Dealer Stores. These drawings support on-going business, new concepts, strategic direction and/or cost reduction efforts. The fixture development department focuses on engineering fixtures that deliver an exciting shopping experience, are easy for the store associate to execute, and can be produced at a lower cost to generate a better return on investment.

Responsibilities/Skills/Experience Requirements

Responsibilities include:

- Coordinate fixture development direction with Customer Experience team.
- Support Fixture Purchasing on fixture development, vendor negotiations and prototyping.
- Provide fixture drawings to key stakeholders in a timely manner.
- Insure all fixtures going into stores meet current ADA, Safety and Asset Protection guide lines.
- Manage, develop and mentor the Fixture Development Team.
- Prioritize and Manage Fixture Development Team work flow.
- Determine staff requirements based on workload.
- Organize and maintain a fixture library, manuals and records.
- Develop, document, and implement processes and insure processes are followed.

Scope of Management Influence & Control:

- The Manager of Fixture Development interacts with all levels of Sears leadership.
- This position is involved in the development of multi-million dollar capital initiative strategies.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree required
- 5 to 10 years of relevant experience
