Job Description

PricewaterhouseCoopers Corporate Advisory and Restructuring (“PwCCAR”), is currently seeking highly motivated individuals for a position as Analyst in the firm’s New York office.

PwCCAR is a boutique investment banking firm operating in the United States as an affiliate of PricewaterhouseCoopers’ global financial services organization. PwCCAR professionals assist and advise domestic and cross border clients in financial restructurings, mergers and acquisitions, sale transactions, capital sourcing, and corporate finance strategy.

As an Analyst, you would play an important role in developing and strengthening client relationships, in participating on advisory teams and in structuring and executing a full range of financial transactions.

On a daily basis, you would work closely with Managing Directors, Directors, Vice Presidents, Associates and other Analysts and would be consistently challenged to demonstrate creative thinking and individual initiative. The work environment provides constant access to highly credentialed senior members of the group.

The daily activities of an Analyst include:

· Financial Analysis - Developing company valuations and implementing financial models, as well as conducting financing, comparative and pro forma analyses.
· Transaction Execution - Interacting with clients and various levels of management, and acting as an integral part of the engagement team.
· Business Development - Preparing new business presentations, conducting fundamental industry research and quantitative analyses, reviewing and organizing financial data, and developing qualitative analyses.

In selecting our analysts, we look for individuals with an undergraduate finance or accounting degree that have superior achievements in academic and extracurricular activities.

Job Requirement Essential
We require candidates with a minimum one year of experience in an investment banking, or select commercial banking, environment or one year experience with a financial restructuring firm. Only candidates with such experience will be considered.
