We are seeking a motivated and team-oriented Animal Research Technician for our TUXEDO, NY facility.





Primary responsibilities include conducting all aspects of laboratory animal care and husbandry; assisting with the cleaning and maintenance of the animal quarters; providing routine care to the research animals; monitoring and controlling environmental conditions; maintaining records and assisting in maintaining supplies; ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements; technical assistance to investigators and work with animal treated with hazardous chemicals and infectious agents; and all related duties as assigned.



Candidate must be a High School graduate (or equivalent) with at least one year of experience in an animal research facility and preferably possess certification by the American Association for Laboratory Animal Science. Excellent communication skills are essential.
