CRA, In-House, Successful Pharma

Summary: A very successful Northern NJ Pharmaceutical company is seeking to hire a full-time in-house CRA to serve on their Medical Affairs team to conduct Phase IIIb and IV studies for multiple drugs (including blockbusters) in therapeutic areas including CNS, Critical Care, CV, Oncology and GI. Located in Northern NJ (and within commuting distance of Rockland/Orange/Westchester and from NYC including via public transportation), this opportunity is highly attractive for several reasons including:

This is an in-house position with light travel (10 15%) limited to Investigator Meetings, vendor meetings, etc. This company uses CROs for day-to-day monitoring.

Location: Northeast New Jersey. Great location for those in Northern NJ as well as a nice reverse commute from New York City (either by car or bus) or from New York State such as Rockland, Orange, and Westchester counties.





Relocation: This company will consider offering offer relocation assistance.





Key Benefits: Half day Fridays for 6 months of the year.





Responsibilities in a Nutshell:


Plan, initiate and manage domestic and global Phase IIIb and IV trials, working closely with the Medical Affairs Study Directors, Medical Directors, Marketing, and CROs.

Get involved with protocol development, developing informed consent forms and CRFs.

Review regulatory documents from sites, manage study budgets, audit sites, resolve data problems, get involved with drug supply, etc.

Oversee CROs to monitor site performance and compliance and provide management with necessary reports, updates and recommendations. Co-monitor on an as-needed basis.

Domestic travel of approximately 10-15%.





Experience Required in a Nutshell:


BS/BA degree (life sciences a plus) is required. An advanced degree is a plus.

2 to 4 years of CRA or CRC experience at a Pharmaceutical company, CRO, or highly-regarded hospital clinical research center such as Memorial Sloan Kettering, MD Anderson, Mayo Clinic, etc.

Medical Affairs experience is a plus, but not required.
