This position provides a day-to-day technical liaison between Engineering and Production, Materials and Quality Assurance Departments. Interaction with component suppliers, defining component and process requirements, is also a day-to-day activity. The Process Engineer is responsible for identifying, defining and coordinating the development of new and cost reducing manufacturing systems. In addition, this position provides primary technical support for both electronic and disposable products and associated documentation. This position directs the qualification efforts for additions or modifications to the electronic/disposable product lines. The Process Engineer is responsible for maintaining a strong understanding of manufacturing processes. This position must maintain, through education and seminars, a working knowledge of state-of-the-art printed circuit board manufacturing processes.

Bachelors degree in Electronics/Electrical Engineering or equivalent is required.

Required/Preferred Experience:
Minimum of two years experience in manufacturing.

Knowledge in engineering design and drafting.
Working knowledge of electro/mechanical assembly techniques, materials and processes, and PCB manufacturing and statistical process control methods.
