Project Manager / Business Analyst

Seeking dynamic, proactive IT project manager for life science BD, Alliance Management and R&D areas

Job Description


We are seeking a dynamic, proactive project manager to expand our US team. You will be responsible for project management, business analyst and presales support. This will include both phone and face to face client work. You will be responsible for supporting the technical side of the sales process in qualified leads. There will be travel required within the US and Europe. You will report directly to the VP of Solution Development.


Major Responsibilities


Provide project continuity for clients from the pre sales through solution implementation

Participate in pre and post sales consulting engagements within the life science BD, Alliance Management and R&D areas.

Drive solution development managing requirement gathering and specifications documentation

Respond to RFP and RFIs

Liaise with technical team in product development role



Pre-requisite Skills


Experience in managing implementation of reliable, secure, scalable and high performance solutions from requirements to production in life science.

2-5 years working experience in IT within the life science industry

Proven track record in project management

Software product development experience

University degree in computer science or biosciences, or equivalent industry experience

Development of business and technical documentation



Optional Relevant Experience:


Knowledge of Java web application architecture and deployment environments

JAVA programming experience

Familiarity and experience with XML

SQL and Relational Database Experience

HTML development
