Senior Software Engineer (C#)

Seeking human C# compiler for state of the art pharmaceuticals application.

This is a Permanent position in NYC. U.S. citizens/Permanent residents only.

Our client is a prestigious firm in the pharmaceutical industry and is seeking an exceptionally talented Senior Software Engineer.



Responsibilities
The Senior Software Engineer is responsible for hands-on design and development of our pharmaceutical client's software product.



Overview:
* Lead the design and develop new components according to specifications from the product management team. This includes screen and report layouts, processing logic and database design.
* Provide diagnostic support and bug fixing for existing product releases
* Follow the Software Development Life Cycle to ensure all software is designed and developed in a controlled, validated environment
* Liaise with Quality Assurance personnel who are developing test cases for the new system functionality
* Provide scheduled updates to the Development Manager



Qualifications

Must have:
* Four-year college degree preferably in computer science, information systems or life sciences
* Proven track record of delivery
* Good verbal and written skills
* Ability to produce quality software under tight time constraints
* 5+ years experience in software development environment
* 2+ years of C#
* 2+ years of ASP.NET



Beneficial to have:
* C/C++ is a plus
* Experience working in a regulated environment
* Experience with clinical research processes
* Experience with SQL Server and/or Oracle
