Sr. EMI Scientist

PhD in electrical engineering with an emphasis on electromagnetic fields. The ideal candidate will work as a research scientist to develop advanced EMI filters, lead wire systems and MRI compatible active implantable medical devices.

Candidates should have a strong background in electromagnetic field theory and the way such fields can induce currents into implanted lead wires. It would also be very helpful if the candidate had a background in passive and/or active filter design. This includes low pass, band pass and high pass filters. The candidate must have knowledge of a circuit analysis program such as PSpice. It would be very helpful if the candidate had a background in EMI EMC test laboratories for both conducted and radiated tests. Good technical writing and communications skills are a must. Experience with active implantable medical devices preferred.
