1031 Exchange Sales Executive
This exciting position offers a great opportunity for a bright, motivated and outgoing individual who enjoys a fast pace, an intellectually stimulating product, and extensive customer interaction. Success in this role will require strong sales skills, well developed interpersonal abilities, and a willingness to creatively seek and seize opportunities to establish and maintain profitable relationships for the company.
Responsibilities
Market, price, sell, and promote 1031 exchange services and products within a defined territory
Pursue business from individuals and entities who are likely to engage in tax deferred exchange transactions or can serve as a source of referrals (Attorneys, CPAs, Realtors, Title Agents, Closers, Commercial and Investment property owners)
Aggressively seek out and provide lectures and seminars on the topic of tax-deferred exchanges to real estate and tax professionals and the public
Secure sponsors for lecturing activities
Identify and attend tradeshows targeted at groups or organizations that are likely sources of tax-deferred exchange business
Maintain a contact database; follow up with customers and manage relationships
Achieve and exceed sales and revenue production goals as set by the company
Document and supply records of sales activity, results and costs, and expense reports to management
Attend and participate in sales meetings, training programs and activities
Share "Best Practices" with other salespeople and management
Perform other duties as assigned by management/company
Minimum Qualifications
Ability to sell effectively and meet or exceed revenue objectives
Advanced knowledge of tax-deferred exchanges and at least 1 year of experience selling 1031 exchange services to the public
Ability to speak effectively in public
Analytical ability and eagerness to learn more about this sophisticated and challenging area of tax law
Capable of interacting with customers in a congenial and businesslike manner
Able to multitask, often under pressure
College degree with a concentration in business or law related field
Proficient with computers to include standard office suite and contact tracking applications
Ability to legally operate a motor vehicle
Willingness to travel
Preferred Qualifications
Leading accredited seminars as a 1031 Exchange Representative
Proven marketing experience in other industries, provided the candidate has worked in an environment where they have developed expertise in tax-deferred exchange transactions
A law degree / legal experience
Local to Las Vegas and surrounding area with a book of business
