Branch Manager
Responsibilities
Attain short and long term profit objectives
Develop and implement medium and long term operational plans and strategies to adjust to changing market conditions
Establish a community and industry identity for the branch
Assure efficient customer service by evaluating customer satisfaction, establishing specific and competitive service standards, developing internal procedures, and assuring that automation supports production
Plan, direct and evaluate, and reward staff production toward achievement of corporate and local goals
With support from Corporate Human Resources, recruit, evaluate, manage, and develop employees
Provide technical and supervisory training for staff
Maintain and communicate information on all corporate and local policies and procedures
May participate in technical aspects of title insurance policy production
May manage local sales program using regional and corporate resources as appropriate
Minimum Qualifications
Considerable knowledge of real estate related services, title insurance production, underwriting, and settlement procedures
Demonstrated ability to formulate a comprehensive business development plan
Demonstrated ability to meet corporate profit and loss goals
Demonstrated negotiating and decision-making skills
Knowledge of sound management practices
Ability to plan, assign, direct, and evaluate work of others
Strong analytical and reasoning capabilities
Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, in person and by telephone
Bachelor's degree with significant experience in real property title, banking, law, or real estate, to include supervision of real estate, finance, or banking operations or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Preferred Qualifications
Title insurance management or supervisory experience
