Handle marketing and negotiations for disposition of various types of real estate




POSITION SUMMARY:


Reporting to the Sr. Director of Properties & Administration, this position is responsible for the sales and leasing of owned and master-leased properties. The successful candidate will market supermarket and retail space, negotiate contracts of sale, leases, subleases and termination agreements in his area of responsibility.





KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:


Handle marketing and negotiations for disposition of various types of real estate

Negotiate legal documentation as necessary

Understand and interpret lease language and obligations relating to subleasing

Work to maintain an up to date knowledge of competitive activity within the operating marketplace

Build and maintain working relationships with brokers, retailers and others in the real estate community








SPECIAL SKILLS, TRAINING, OR EXPERIENCE:


v 3-5 years experience in commercial/retail real estate sales, leasing and management


v Highly proficient in oral and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to interact with all levels of management


v Superb organizational skills with particular attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple projects on time sensitive schedules


v Self motivated and able to work independently


v Ability to utilize Microsoft office products to include Word, Excel and Outlook


v Undergraduate degree preferred in business, finance, sales related fields
