We are searching for experienced restaurant managers (Assistant Managers, General Managers, and Shift Leaders) for the following locations:



West Hartford, CT


New Haven, CT





Job Previews:

Shift Leader - Job Preview (must have 1 year restaurant experience, and hands-on management experience)


Ensure all operations tools are completed to Cosi standard (line check, weigh ins, other checklists).

Ensure proper set up or close down of the entire restaurant including barista, sandwich/salad line, ovenline, catering and prep areas.

Ensure all food and beverage products are prepared according to Cosi specifications at all times.

Ensure staffing levels are appropriate for each shift.

Support sales efforts and general business transactions by developing courteous and productive relationships with customers and vendors.

Handle front of house POS system management functions.


Assistant Manager - Job Preview (must have 1 year restaurant management experience)


Assist the general manager with hiring processes and staffing decisions.

Support sales efforts.

Contribute to the success of the restaurant by managing operations according to Cosi standards, policies and procedures.

Coordinate inventory control and management procedures, quality control projects and physical inventories.

Assist with P&L reporting.

Will be required to work irregular hours including nights, weekends and holidays.


General Manager - Job Preview (must have 4 years of restaurant management experience)


Professionally develop team members by conducting regular evaluations against defined expectations.

Manage P&L reporting with specific focus on budget management and financial analysis.

Maintain labor management costs.

Review operations performance and productivity in accordance with goals and standards.

Will be required to work irregular hours including nights, weekends and holidays.
