Assistant Store Manager

JOB DESCRIPTION:
Assistant managers assist the store manager in all facets of store management, including sales, human resources management, operations, finance, and merchandising and marketing. The assistant manager is responsible for decision making in the absence of the store manager with the assistance of the district manager and the corporate office staff. The assistant manager focuses on ensuring a quality experience for each customer and maximizing store profitability by assisting with associate recruitment, training, and development, quality and inventory control, overseeing store promotions and marketing initiatives, and efficient management of inventory, deliveries, payroll, and accounts receivables.


QUALIFICATIONS:
Our most successful managers are highly motivated to achieve results, provide a quality experience for customers and associates, and adapt to change. They have a knack for creative problem solving while understanding the need to follow established policies and procedures. They set an example of integrity and honesty in communication and action. They have had prior experience in the retail industry with a demonstrated ability to provide leadership and supervisory skills.
